About the role

  • Service Inventory Planning Systems Analyst configuring planning systems and performing business analysis for KLA. Collaborating on enhancements and ensuring effective service inventory management in diverse environments.

Responsibilities

  • Configuration of planning parameters and business logic within the service inventory planning system related to demand forecasting, inventory optimization, replenishment and supply processes
  • Identify and document requirements for enhancements and work with internal and external teams to complete successful development and implementation
  • Evaluate the impact of configuration changes on downstream planning, execution, and reporting, and communicate impacts clearly to stakeholders
  • Perform ad hoc analytics using a variety of tools and data sources
  • Define and/or develop analytical tools in PowerBI and other data visualization technologies
  • Identify opportunities to enhance data reporting landscape
  • Design and execute functional testing for configuration changes, new features, and enhancements
  • Validate planning outputs against business expectations and real‑world results
  • Identify opportunities to simplify configurations, standardize logic, and improve system usability and scalability
  • Maintain clear documentation of system configuration, planning logic, assumptions, and data design
  • Support knowledge transfer, training, and enablement for business users and partners
  • Act as a subject matter expert for the service inventory planning system

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, Engineering or related discipline
  • Experience with service inventory planning systems such as Prophet by Baxter Planning, PTC SPM or equivalent
  • Hands‑on experience configuring or supporting forecasting, inventory optimization, or supply operations in a service environment
  • Experience translating business requirements into system logic, parameters, or configurations
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large data sets
  • Proficiency with Excel and analytical tools; experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools is a plus
  • Understanding of inventory planning concepts such as demand forecasting, inventory optimization, service levels, transactional automation and reporting
