About the role

  • Director position developing the Pharma/Medical Technology & Healthcare segment at KEYPLAYER Interim Management in Munich. Seeking an experienced professional with a strong network in Business Development.

Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for building and expanding the Pharma / Medical Technology & Healthcare segment.
  • To achieve growth targets, you develop innovative ideas and strategies within your area of responsibility.
  • Through structured, targeted and professional client acquisition, you win new clients for filling key positions (interim and permanent).
  • Based on market observations, you develop strategies to identify and exploit potential and are responsible for their implementation.
  • You manage our existing clients, continuously expand collaboration at management level, and are responsible for developing and servicing key accounts, with a focus on the upper mid-market and corporations.
  • You lead placement processes for (inter)national mandates, work hand in hand with our research specialists, and conduct targeted interviews with managers.
  • You act as a brand ambassador for KEYPLAYER in your segment and impress our clients by placing top-tier positions at well-known brands and hidden champions at first and second management levels.
  • You are responsible for expanding our adviser board for the segment and for coordinating and working closely with the advisers.

Requirements

  • You bring at least five to ten years of operational experience from the Pharma / Medical Technology & Healthcare industry or from a consultancy specialized in this segment, or you are recognized as a top manager in the segment and well connected, with a personal affinity for business development.
  • Alternatively, you have many years of experience with a higher-end recruitment firm (interim and/or executive search) in this segment, and thus a deep understanding of the operational perspective and requirements for roles and candidates.
  • You possess strategic foresight for expanding the segment.
  • Business development, people and client satisfaction are your passion; achieving targets and successfully managing demanding mandates is a fulfilling task for you.
  • You bring a structured, conscientious working style and entrepreneurial thinking and action.
  • A professional, well-presented manner is your trademark, through which you are appreciated and recognized by our clients at top level as a partner and solution provider.
  • The highest quality and customer orientation are a natural expectation in your daily work.
