Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-quality software components for the next-generation TESS platform
Develop software solutions to support automated design and manufacturing processes
Process large and complex datasets and build reliable solutions in data processing and configuration management
Work closely with Product Owners, subject-matter experts, business users, project managers, and cross-functional engineering teams to translate domain requirements into technical solutions
Produce clear and comprehensive documentation (e.g., flowcharts, diagrams, layouts, charts, code comments) and develop maintainable software
Deploy applications, gather and evaluate user feedback, and perform ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancement of existing systems
Contribute to architecture decisions and actively shape the long-term evolution of the platform
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
Collaborate closely with other engineers to ensure consistent technology standards and best practices
Work with mechanical engineers and tooling specialists to ensure software solutions accurately represent engineering principles and manufacturing realities
Requirements
Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable field
1–2 years of professional experience in software development (desirable but not mandatory)
Solid knowledge of databases, software architecture, and modern software development methodologies
Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET (Microsoft technologies), SQL, web technologies, and user interface development
Experience designing and developing interactive applications
Strong analytical skills and a structured, precise, and independent working style
Strong interest in mechanical engineering, manufacturing processes, or industrial tooling systems, and the motivation to develop deep domain knowledge
Open, communicative personality with a team-oriented approach
Very good German language skills, spoken and written
