Responsibilities
Respond to customer requests for specific tools and specifications
Handle technical customer projects for machining complex parts
Support the creation of 2D or 3D concept and manufacturing drawings to substantiate technical proposals
Perform CAM simulations to validate projects
Present proposed tools and machining programs internally or to external customers
Define special tools in coordination with specialized departments
Provide technical support to sales and customers
Offer technical and economic advice when selecting suppliers for special tools
Use and maintain the technical database
Travel for multi-day client visits, approximately 25% of the time
Requirements
Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, preferably with a specialization in Manufacturing or Production Engineering, or equivalent education with relevant advanced training
10–15 years of experience in machining and metalworking with tool application (time study and manufacturing processes of mechanical parts); experience in the aerospace sector preferred
Native/bilingual level of French
Very good written and spoken English (additional languages such as German are an asset)
