About the role

  • Tax Analyst handling tax documentation and legislation compliance for Kemira's Brazil Headquarters. Responsible for tax calculations, invoicing, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and verify fiscal documents (NF-e, CT-e) and the tax classification of goods and services (inbound and outbound)
  • Perform calculation and reporting of indirect taxes (ICMS, IPI, PIS, COFINS, withholdings), ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal deadlines and internal policies
  • Prepare and submit ancillary tax filings (EFD Fiscal - ICMS/IPI; GIA; DMA; REINF; DCTFWeb; PER/DCOMP Web; DIRF; etc.)
  • Issue fiscal invoices via SAP
  • Generate tax payment guides and perform posting/accounting of payments
  • Support tax inspections and audits (external and internal) and provide clarifications to internal departments
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation and support the implementation of necessary adjustments to company processes and systems
  • Reconcile tax accounts
  • Perform monthly tax and accounting close
  • Keep tax documentation organized and up to date in accordance with legal requirements and internal policies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Pre-intermediate / Intermediate English
  • Experience in tax (fiscal) area; knowledge of tax legislation; strong analytical skills
  • Knowledge of SAP and TaxOne systems
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
