Responsibilities
Drive strategic sales initiatives to achieve revenue and margin targets.
Lead and mentor 3-5 Business Development Managers and Solutions Design team members to ensure alignment with company goals.
Develop and implement prospecting strategies for new markets and service offerings.
Collaborate across business lines to establish target client profiles, develop and utilize effective prospecting tools, lead the response to large and complex client RFPs, and create and deliver compelling presentations tailored to diverse client audiences.
Partner with key clients, and the operations team, to maintain and expand relationships, ensure seamless transition from business development to implementation, and continuously refine sales processes, tools, and customer tracking systems for greater efficiency, accuracy, and visibility.
Market analysis and competitive intelligence – understand trends and competitors to position services effectively.
Requirements
10+ years of senior level sales leadership experience in warehousing & 3PL.
Proven success in solution selling and strategic account management.
Experience with CRM systems and emerging technologies (HubSpot preferred).
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
Willingness to travel approximately 40% of the time for client engagement and industry events, with flexibility to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed.
