About the role
- Senior Director of Capture leading large, complex, mission-critical Federal programs for KBR. Shaping and executing winning capture strategies to drive long-term growth priorities.
Responsibilities
- Serve as Capture Executive for KBR’s largest, most strategic pursuits
- Own and lead the end-to-end capture lifecycle across multiple simultaneous pursuits
- Translate enterprise and BU growth strategies into actionable capture plans
- Lead development and execution of a robust, multi-year pipeline
- Drive disciplined opportunity qualification and win-ability assessments
- Develop and execute comprehensive capture plans
- Brief capture status, risks, and recommendations to senior KBR leadership
- Mentor and develop capture managers and growth professionals across the organization
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience); advanced degree strongly preferred
- 20+ years of experience across capture management, business development, operations, or strategy roles within government services
- Demonstrated success winning large, prime, single-award contracts valued at $200M+
- Proven leadership of enterprise-scale pipelines ($500M–$1B+)
- Deep understanding of Federal Civilian agencies
- Experience operating within a mature, industry-leading capture organization
- Strong financial acumen
- Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with senior government officials, industry executives, and internal leadership
