Responsibilities
Promote the safety culture and policies within KBR
Implement health, safety and environmental policies, procedures and guidelines for employee and department safety
Interact with services personnel, clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure the meeting of operational standards
Assist the Safety Director and various Safety Managers in developing and implementing Action Plans
Compile and analyze accident, injury, and property loss data
Conduct follow-on monitoring to keep senior management informed of progress
Review data and provide reports for monthly HSE metrics
Assist management with formulating Corrective Action Plans to reduce incidents and lower insurance-related costs
Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety
Prepare and submit reports on safety activities and compliance status
Requirements
High school diploma and 2+ years’ experience in a safety-related role within the industry
Knowledge of Power BI for dashboard creation, reporting, and data model development to provide meaningful business insights
Strong organizational and task management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities as well as interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
