About the role
- Safety Administrator promoting safety culture and implementing safety policies for KBR's mission-critical services. Collaborating with management and ensuring compliance in safety activities and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Promote the safety culture and policies within KBR
- Implement health, safety and environmental policies, procedures and guidelines for employee and department safety
- Interact with services personnel, clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure the meeting of operational standards
- Assist the Safety Director and various Safety Managers in developing and implementing Action Plans
- Compile and analyze accident, injury, and property loss data
- Conduct follow-on monitoring to keep senior management informed of progress
- Review data and provide reports for monthly HSE metrics
- Assist management with formulating Corrective Action Plans to reduce incidents and lower insurance-related costs
- Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety
- Prepare and submit reports on safety activities and compliance status
Requirements
- High school diploma and 2+ years’ experience in a safety-related role within the industry
- Knowledge of Power BI for dashboard creation, reporting, and data model development to provide meaningful business insights
- Strong organizational and task management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities as well as interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
