About the role

  • Discipline Manager guiding Business Change Capability and managing multidisciplinary advisory teams. Overseeing technical delivery and team development while ensuring alignment with strategic company goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and mentor Group Leaders, offering line management, pastoral care, and career development guidance
  • Shape and deliver 1- and 5-year capability plans (skills, recruitment, supply chain) aligned to business strategy
  • Oversee salary reviews and promotion assessments in line with competency frameworks
  • Balance team capacity and demand, mobilising resources to meet strategic and tactical needs
  • Champion technical excellence and quality standards across projects and commercial activity
  • Contribute directly to technical delivery and delegated project roles
  • Support risk management, client engagement, and new business development
  • Advance interdisciplinary investment opportunities consistent with the company’s strategic goals
  • Manage and protect intellectual property in collaboration with legal and innovation teams

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in a consultancy environment.
  • Significant people and line management experience
  • Significant academic and practical knowledge of technical area
  • Knowledge of a recognised PM framework
  • Evidence of supporting the development of bids by preparing or scrutinising the costs associated with the proposed technical approach
  • Master’s Degree (Level 7) / higher or equivalent in relevant area
  • Should hold Chartered or equivalent status
