Responsibilities
Create, contribute and participate.
Designing press and public relations strategies tailored to target audiences
Editing and producing press releases, newsletters, press invitations and other press materials
Organizing press events
Creating and maintaining distribution/media lists; target audience research
Day-to-day press relations
Planning project-specific promotional activities
Producing announcement and promotional materials for print and online
Conceptualizing and implementing posts for HKW’s social media channels
Requirements
Completed degree, preferably in communication or cultural studies, the humanities, or any field related to HKW’s areas of activity; a university degree is not strictly required if comparable professional experience can be demonstrated
Strong interest in cultural topics and the ability to understand and present complex content clearly
Initial experience in content research and writing, as well as editing texts in German and English
Independent and precise working style
Organizational and communication skills
Affinity for working in international teams and contexts
Excellent written and spoken English and very good German skills (GER Level C1); additional foreign language skills are an advantage
Sensitivity to the specific concerns of a non-profit cultural institution
Proficiency in MS Office
