- Own the finance function at Kasheesh
- Prepare monthly financial statements
- Build and maintain the company’s budget and rolling forecasts
- Manage the general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and expense reconciliation
- Work cross-functionally with department leads to manage their budgets
- Manage cash flow and runway reporting
- Maintain investor reporting packages and updates
- Support tax, compliance, and audit-related requirements (e.g. 1099s, state specific business tax filings)
- Own and improve financial tools, systems, and processes
- Help prepare for future fundraising rounds by ensuring clean financials and financial narratives
Requirements
- Experience working with or in early-stage, venture-backed companies is required
- 4–7+ years of finance and accounting experience, ideally in fintech, payments, or high-growth startups
- Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Familiarity with tools and platforms like Stripe
- Comfort with BIN management, reconciliation, and card-related financial workflows
- Comfortable working independently and building systems from scratch
- Bonus: CPA or public accounting background
