About the role
- Business Controller acting as a strategic financial partner for Keylane, advising management on financial matters and optimizing resource allocation.
Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic financial partner for the business or support unit.
- Advise management and business leaders on financial matters to help them realize their objectives sustainably.
- Translate organizational goals into clear financial KPIs and monitor performance against budgets and forecasts.
- Provide insights into financial results, identify trends, and translate these into actionable advice.
- Prepare and analyze periodic financial reports, forecasts, and business cases.
- Proactively signal risks and opportunities and support well-balanced trade-offs.
- Ensure alignment between operational performance and financial governance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting.
Requirements
- You have a completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field;
- You have several years of experience in a Business Controller or similar financial role;
- You have experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and KPI reporting;
- You are able to translate complex financial data into clear insights and recommendations for non-financial stakeholders;
- You are proactive, analytical and comfortable challenging management in a constructive way;
- You have strong communication skills and are able to build relationships across different departments;
- Experience in a SaaS, IT or project-driven environment is a plus;
- You are comfortable working with financial systems and Excel; experience with BI tooling is an advantage.
- A Certificate of Conduct (VOG) and reference check are part of the application process.

- Starting with a monthly gross salary between €4,000 and €5,800 based on 40 hours per week, depending on your experience and seniority;
