About the role
- Software Developer enhancing the MERKURflow tool for adp MERKUR GmbH. Involvement in frontend and backend development, user interaction, and feature conception.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the further development and production deployment of the strategic MERKURflow tool
- Actively contribute to the design of new features and independently implement them in the frontend and backend
- Ensure stable, secure, and reliable operation of the application in collaboration with our system integrator BEIT
- Act as a connecting interface between sales, development, and other stakeholders
- Regularly communicate with MERKURflow users, answer functional and technical queries, and collect improvement suggestions and feature requests
Requirements
- University degree (Master's or Bachelor's) in (Business) Informatics / Computer Science, or a Bachelor Professional in IT with a focus on application development
- Several years of professional experience in developing responsive web applications
- Solid knowledge in developing responsive web applications as well as modeling and optimizing relational databases (PHP, MariaDB, JavaScript, jQuery)
- Experience in UX definition, HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, cybersecurity, and AI applications
- Very good German and English skills
- Strong analytical skills, structured project work, high self-management, and a good-humored, team-oriented personality who enjoys contributing new ideas.
