Customer & Shopper Marketing Manager driving pharmacy channel execution for Karo Healthcare in Düsseldorf. Shaping strategic brand growth across DACH through marketing initiatives and collaborations.
Responsibilities
Translate brand strategy into powerful, pharmacy-focused shopper and customer marketing execution across the DACH region, acting as the bridge between Marketing, Sales, and key retail partners.
Deliver best-in-class merchandising and POS materials to maximise availability and visibility of key SKUs.
Design and execute trade campaigns aligned with marketing priorities to support pharmacist sell-out, drive visibility, and enhance brand share of voice.
Lead planning and activation of in-store events (roadshows, concourse activities, health days, etc.) for national and local pharmacy partners.
Collaborate with Marketing to create trade toolkits (planograms, promotions, merchandising, communication) for key accounts and special projects.
Analyse data to assess performance, strengthen category strategy, and identify new business opportunities.
Identify and translate shopper insights into actionable strategies and winning retail experiences.
Leverage point-of-sale opportunities to increase promotional effectiveness, reduce switch, and improve overall conversion.
Act as the voice of the trade channel, sharing field insights with Brand Marketing and proactively proposing initiatives that bring strategy to life at retail.
Partner closely with Trade Key Account Managers, Regional Sales Managers, and Key Account Specialists to align on priorities and drive cohesive execution.
Prepare for and participate in key internal and external sales meetings.
Support the growth of Karo brands across trade channels through high-quality execution.
Build strong relationships with customers and internal partners to drive joint business plans.
Monitor trade promotion effectiveness and ensure compliance with legal and corporate standards.
Oversee trade-marketing budget responsibilities and track performance via dashboards/KPIs.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
Proven experience in the OTC/FMCG pharmacy environment.
Strong track record in executing pharmacy-focused initiatives.
Solid sales and negotiation capabilities.
Understanding of consumer goods P&L and performance drivers.
Strong analytical skills with experience in category management and driver identification.
Experience within Healthcare OTC, FMCG, or Beauty Care.
Previous experience in Trade Marketing or Digital Marketing.
High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
