Responsibilities
Manage user roles, permissions, and platform configurations across SFMC.
Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with governance standards.
Maintain security, data integrity, and adherence to privacy regulations (GDPR, CAN-SPAM).
Support end-to-end campaign delivery across Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Content Builder.
Build, test, and schedule dynamic journeys and automations using AMPscript and SQL.
Drive campaign optimisation through personalisation, performance tracking, and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with Salesforce CRM teams to ensure accurate data syncs and segmentation.
Manage data extensions, imports, and platform integrations (API, FTP, etc.) with reliability and scalability in mind.
Provide expert guidance on campaign execution and platform best practices.
Lead change management for platform updates, ensuring robust documentation, testing, and version control.
Requirements
2–5 years hands-on experience as an SFMC Administrator or Marketing Automation Specialist.
Proficiency in AMPscript, SQL, HTML/CSS, and data-driven email personalisation.
Strong experience with Automation Studio, Journey Builder, and campaign segmentation.
Familiarity with Salesforce CRM (Sales Cloud) and system integrations.
Proven ability to engage marketing and IT stakeholders, balancing technical detail with clear communication.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns in a global context.
Experience working in a distributed global team or with UK/EMEA stakeholders.
Knowledge of governance and change control processes.
Awareness of data protection and privacy regulations (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, consent management).
