About the role
- FX Data Analyst Intern contributing to Product & Data Analysis team at Kantox. Gathering business data and providing structured insights for future automation and intelligent assistants.
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze existing business materials, templates, and documentation.
- Identify data quality issues and inconsistencies across repositories.
- Conduct feedback sessions with Commercial team members to understand workflows and common use cases.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to detect trends, patterns, and key prospect characteristics.
- Analyze relationships between attributes and outcomes to uncover success drivers.
- Document FX hedging and risk management best practices using internal resources and industry benchmarks.
- Work together with the Commercial and Product teams to validate findings and clarify business context.
- Present insights and recommendations in a clear and structured way.
- Support the creation of standardized templates, frameworks, and quality-control processes.
Requirements
- Academic background in **Finance, Economics**, or a related field—or up to 2 years of relevant experience.
- Strong analytical mindset, comfortable with both qualitative and quantitative data.
- Solid command of **Excel**.
- Fluent in **business English**.
- Interest in **fintech** and financial markets.
- Some familiarity with **data cleaning** and financial datasets.
- Basic knowledge of **Python, SQL**, or data visualization tools.
- Curiosity about **AI applications** and emerging technologies.
