About the role

Responsibilities

  • Independently and collaboratively develop quantitative solutions for economic policy questions
  • Analyze large socio-economic microdata sets
  • Conduct simulation calculations and empirical studies

  • Support the design, further development, and operation of microsimulation models

Requirements

  • University degree (Master/Diploma) with a focus on economics or a related field
  • Strong analytical mindset and high affinity for data
  • Initial practical experience in applying empirical methods
  • Knowledge of Stata, R, SPSS, or Visual Basic
  • Willingness to learn common programming languages (e.g., Java and Python)
  • Interest in empirical analysis of tax policy
  • Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken
  • Willingness to undertake occasional business trips and represent the organization at congresses and conferences
