About the role

  • Develop antennas for radio communications within the Future Combat Air System (FCAS) program, with a focus on integration into airborne platforms.
  • Design, optimize and test antennas and associated RF front-ends—from concept development through to series production readiness.
  • Perform feasibility studies and evaluate technical concepts with respect to performance, integration and system compatibility.
  • Support antenna design through verification and actively assist with platform integration and validation at both component and system levels.
  • Specify qualifying tests and measurements and verify antenna characteristics using modern test methods.

Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, RF Engineering or a related field—ideally a Master’s degree or PhD, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Solid professional experience in antenna development and integration.
  • Extensive experience in modeling and simulation using RF development tools such as CST Microwave Studio and AWR Microwave Office.
  • Knowledge of RF front-end architectures and RF measurement techniques, including Vector Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers and other RF test equipment.
