Responsibilities

  • representing employees in legal claims related to Washington wage and hour laws
  • defending and taking depositions
  • drafting meet and confer letters regarding discovery issues
  • arguing motions
  • conducting arbitrations
  • preparing for and attending mediations
  • preparing cases for trial
  • perform in-depth legal research
  • managing all aspects of cases and ensuring deadlines are met

Requirements

  • JD Required
  • Minimum 4-9 years relevant legal experience
  • Expertise in wage and hour Law
  • Litigation Skills: experience with all stages of the litigation process
  • excellent oral and written communication skills
  • ability to work independently or within a team
