About the role
- Educational Consultant for a growing Edtech startup, visiting prison units for operational oversight and pedagogical alignment. Engaging with local educators to enhance educational practices.
Responsibilities
- Conduct recurring visits to client prison units, ensuring continuous presence in operations (weekly visits with an average stay of 3 days per unit);
- Attend in-person classes inside the prison, observing pedagogical practices and ensuring methodological alignment;
- Interact with local pedagogues, supporting, advising and identifying areas for improvement across the following segments: Literacy, Elementary School (Grades 1–5), Middle School (Grades 6–9), High School and Vocational Education;
- Lead pedagogical and operational meetings with unit teams;
- Transport educational materials, promotional items and pedagogical kits (cases/equipment);
- Analyze educational and operational indicators, transforming data into insights and action plans;
- Operate with a strategic outlook, ensuring excellence in execution and client satisfaction;
- Represent Jovens Gênios during visits, follow-ups and alignments with local managers;
Requirements
- Degree in Pedagogy or related fields in Education;
- Practical experience working in prison units, preferably with direct involvement in classes or educational projects within the prison system;
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive (rental cars provided during travel);
- Full availability for frequent travel, including multi-day stays on the road or in different cities;
- Proficiency in basic performance and educational indicator analysis;
- Strong verbal communication, professional demeanor and ability to lead meetings.
