Events & Famil Manager at Journey Beyond leading the planning and execution of various events. Working with cross-functional teams to deliver a variety of consumer, trade, and brand activation events.
Responsibilities
Lead end‑to‑end planning, coordination and delivery of all Journey Beyond events.
Develop event concepts, themes, timelines and project plans from idea to execution.
Deliver a mix of consumer and B2B events, brand activations and national showcases.
Manage event logistics including venues, suppliers, AV partners and staging.
Oversee budget management across events, activations and famil travel programs.
Manage invitations, guest communication, collateral and digital content.
Act as the main contact for vendors, attendees and internal stakeholders on event days.
Deliver on‑site event execution, staffing plans, rosters and crew briefs.
Coordinate all major media and trade famils including itineraries and travel logistics.
Prepare post‑event insights, reports, feedback and continuous improvement recommendations.
Requirements
Proven experience delivering events end‑to‑end, from planning through to on‑site execution
Strong organisational and project‑management skills, with the ability to juggle competing deadlines
Experience working with cross‑functional teams and external vendors
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across Marketing, Sales and operational teams
Budget management capability and confidence allocating resources wisely
Creative problem‑solving skills and adaptability when challenges arise
An understanding of hospitality and what makes a best‑in‑class guest experience
Travel planning and logistics management experience
