Field Application Engineer working on SLT solutions and customer projects. Collaborating with customers and internal teams to ensure technical success and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Participate in customer projects – including software development, debug, and production support – ensuring technical success
Provide guidance to customers in development of successful test solutions
Develop strong relationships with key customers
Develop knowledge and expertise on Teradyne SLT system integration and use models
Develops and maintains a high degree of customer satisfaction based on Yield/Uptime
Provide analysis reports to the team with recommendations.
Handle customer HW failure issues and provide root cause analysis and solution
Develops SW application for data collecting/ analysis and report
Develops or modifies the test software for hardware verification process
Requirements
Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Programming or related fields
C# program development and Python scripting capabilities
Experience with CIM (Computer-Integrated Manufacturing) is preferred
Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals (digital logic, high speed communication on USB and PCIe)
Experienced field application engineers in the semiconductor industry (ATE, SLT) is an advantage
Good written and verbal communication skills in English and your native language
Willing to travel 40% of time when required
Able to handle dynamic work environment with pressure and quick changes
