- Senior Applications Engineer designing high density 400V+ DCDC isolated converters. Collaborating with cross-functional teams for application support and technical training.
Responsibilities
- Designing high density 400V+ DCDC isolated converters
- Developing and debugging analog circuits
- Writing datasheets and application/design notes
- Providing application support and technical training
- Working with design engineers, field applications team, and marketing
- Developing application reference circuits and system level power management solutions
- Conducting hands-on lab bench evaluations, system and board level debugging
- Writing datasheets, application notes, design notes, and papers to promote MPS products
Requirements
- MSEE or higher required
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in switch mode power supply designs
- Familiar with lab tools like oscilloscope, DMM, power supplies, e-loads, frequency analyzer, etc.
- Lab automation experience with Python is a plus
- Experience with simulation tool like Simplis, Maxwell, Icepak, etc. is preferred
- Experience in PCB design/layout is a plus
- Fluent communication skills in English
- Excellent writing and presentation skills
- Self-motivated.
