About the role

  • Engineering Technician responsible for debugging and repairing defective boards for Teradyne. Working alongside Test Engineers to ensure quality repairs and compliance with IPC standards.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible in the debug and quality repair of defective boards
  • Performs ECO(Engineering Change Order) based on IPC standards and Teradyne process
  • Transact all records pertaining to the repaired board in accordance to the Teradyne process from receiving until shipment
  • Works with the Test Engineer in process requirements, quality improvements, reliability issues, as well as meeting repair goals.

Requirements

  • Junior college or technical school diploma with Electrical Engineering or Computer Applications background
  • Have 2 years working experience
  • Knowledgeable in electronics board troubleshooting, de/soldering and repair
  • Experience in hardware/software validation and verification for medium and high-end testers is an advantage
  • Experience of production or maintenance in electronic equipment is plus
  • Goal and results-oriented, assertive and hardworking
  • Computer literate (MS Office specially MS Word and MS Excel)
  • Basic English reading and writing skills.
