About the role
- SAP MM Solution Architect at Syntax focusing on enhancing supply chain management processes through innovative SAP solutions. Leading a team of consultants to drive transformational changes and improve operational efficiencies.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of MM consultants on high-priority, shorter-term SCM projects, focusing on enhancing inventory management and procurement processes.
- Assist in pre-sales activities including RFP responses, client discovery, and the preparation and delivery of demos that showcase SCM capabilities.
- Collaborate with the competency lead to perform quality assurance checks for logistics implementations, ensuring alignment with best SCM practices.
- Drive improvements in Syntax’s logistics intellectual property and delivery capabilities, focusing on SCM innovations and methodologies.
- Design and implement complex logistics enhancements and extensions to standard SAP solutions, optimizing the supply chain from procurement to delivery.
- Provide functional and architectural guidance to teams developing leading-edge solutions in the logistics domain, including mobile solutions and business intelligence applications aimed at improving supply chain visibility and decision-making.
- Navigate and configure the Fiori UX front end to enhance user experiences for supply chain stakeholders.
- Utilize new Fiori tools such as CDS view queries and workflows to optimize SCM processes and enhance system functionality.
- Ensure a solid understanding of key MM Fiori applications and their relationships with users, security, catalogs, and groups to support effective supply chain operations.
Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience with SAP MM, including deep knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.
- At least 5 full life cycle implementations of SAP MM, demonstrating expertise in optimizing procurement and inventory management operations.
- Proven track record of leading teams and delivering high-quality SCM solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to think creatively and challenge the status quo to drive supply chain excellence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for customer service and stakeholder engagement.
- Familiarity with the latest Fiori technologies and tools, enhancing user experience and functionality in SCM applications.
- Previous experience in a consultancy role, especially within supply chain management.
