About the role
- Senior Transformation Manager focused on upgrading TfL's payments and revenue collection processes. Leading strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience in London.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of strategic transformation programmes, starting with IRCC transition
- Develop and implement strategies and solutions to complex, ambiguous challenges
- Coordinate matrixed technical and operational teams to deliver integrated outcomes
- Represent TfL in high-level internal and external stakeholder engagements, including industry partners and government bodies
- Own governance processes, including programme boards and steering groups
- Manage programme finances, budgets, and commercial matters in collaboration with Finance and Commercial teams
- Provide high-quality briefings, reports, and recommendations to senior leadership
- Support the Head of Transformation in shaping future transformation priorities and operating models
Requirements
- Proven experience in leading complex transformation programmes in transport, payments, or public sector environments
- Experience working with senior stakeholders, including government, commercial partners, and technical teams
- Demonstrated success in strategy development, programme delivery, and change management
- Experience managing budgets, commercial contracts, and governance processes
- Familiarity with digital payments, revenue collection systems, or account-based ticketing is highly desirable
