About the role
- HVAC Engineer responsible for project planning and technical execution in Gelsenkirchen. Focusing on air conditioning, ventilation, heating, and refrigeration systems while ensuring quality and timeline adherence.
Responsibilities
- Subject-specific planning responsibility with a focus on HVAC (air conditioning, ventilation, heating and refrigeration systems), as well as system-related fire protection and sanitary engineering
- Preparation of planning services (HOAI service phases 1 to 9)
- Technical coordination and quality assurance of specialized planning by executing contractors or external TGA/building-services planners
- Coordination and negotiations with internal and external project stakeholders
- Participation in scheduling, schedule control and schedule review
- Monitoring execution quality and acceptance of works
- Technical support for contract awarding, billing and change-order management
- Contract correspondence and technical documentation
Requirements
- University degree in building services engineering / TGA or an equivalent qualification (e.g., heating technology, air-conditioning technology, sanitary engineering)
- Several years of professional experience in the project planning of building services systems, preferably in industrial construction, including leading and delivering building services projects
- Proficiency in CAD applications, preferably with 3D/BIM experience and specialized design software
- Practical, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to focus on key issues; team player with strong commitment
- Fluent German and English skills
- Willingness to travel on business
