About the role

  • Develop and manage security strategies and procedures that keep our transport systems running smoothly.
  • Oversee security services during major events and special operations, ensuring everything goes off without a hitch.
  • Foster strong connections with law enforcement, security agencies, and businesses to enhance our collective efforts in public safety.
  • Make sure our security measures work well with the overall performance of our transport networks and respect heritage and community agreements.

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in a business discipline or equivalent industry experience in managing critical infrastructure resilience or assets of a significant nature.
  • Willing and ability to be on-call and travel outside normal business hours during a major, crisis or emergency events.
  • Must hold (or eligible to obtain) a NSW Security Licence Class 1A (or equivalent)
  • A current and valid Australian motor vehicle driver license and be willing to travel as required.
