Responsibilities

  • Deliver asset strategies for light rail infrastructure and fleet performance
  • Develop and implement plans that optimise reliability and cost-effectiveness
  • Manage technical assurance frameworks to meet compliance standards
  • Collaborate with operators and suppliers to align priorities
  • Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement
  • Spend time in the field to inspect assets and understand real-world conditions

Requirements

  • Engineering qualifications
  • Experience in asset management, ideally within rail or light rail environments.
  • Strong knowledge of technical assurance, compliance, and engineering standards.
  • Skills in stakeholder engagement, planning, problem-solving, and contract management.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to work autonomously and suggest innovative solutions.
  • Comfort working in outsourced delivery environments.
  • Mode-specific experience is highly valued: Understanding of light rail systems, depot operations, and associated infrastructure.
