About the role

Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and execute detailed test cases for UI and API testing
- Perform exploratory testing, identify edge cases, and ensure solid test coverage
- Validate data using SQL queries and perform database testing as needed
- Analyze test results, report defects clearly, and verify fixes through re-testing
- Collaborate closely with developers, PMs, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria
- Document test processes, results, defects, and other QA-related artifacts
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA practices within the team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- At least 2–3 years in a QA or similar role, with a strong track record in manual testing and quality assurance
- Solid experience with UI and API testing (tools like Postman are a strong advantage)
- Ability to write SQL queries for effective data validation and database testing
- Familiarity with Jira or Azure DevOps for project management and defect tracking
- Understanding of SDLC and Agile development principles
- Strong analytical skills for problem-solving and troubleshooting
- Excellent communication skills to articulate issues clearly and collaborate effectively with team members
