- Project Manager (PM) C2 Transport Engineer overseeing tactical network engineering at Janus Research Group. Managing design, configuration, testing, and integration of tactical network solutions in a lab environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and management of tactical network engineering projects
- Oversee all phases of network testing, configuration, and integration
- Design and implement tactical network solutions in the lab
- Work closely with network engineers, digital engineers, cybersecurity specialists, and systems integrators
- Supervise the testing and validation of network solutions
- Ensure all network designs and configurations comply with DOD cybersecurity standards
- Maintain comprehensive records of network configurations, test plans, results, and project progress
- Identify and mitigate project risks early in the testing phase
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Janus Research Group and DOD stakeholders
- Leverage feedback from testing to improve network configurations and lab processes
Requirements
- Candidates must have an active Secret clearance
- Bachelors degree in Network Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Project Management Certification (PMP, Scrum Master, or similar) is highly preferred
- 5+ years of experience in tactical network engineering
- Proven experience supporting DOD contracts
- Hands-on experience with network design, configuration, and integration within lab-based environments
- Strong understanding of network security protocols and cybersecurity requirements for DOD systems
- Experience managing lab-based projects
- Familiarity with digital engineering tools, such as Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) platforms and simulation systems
