About the role

  • Community & Social Media Manager expanding Misan by Bamboo’s reach in the diaspora. Building community relationships, managing social media strategies, and driving user engagement for a fintech platform.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with diaspora communities, community leaders, cultural organizations, and influencers to amplify Misan by Bamboo’s reach and impact.
  • Execute community-focused actions to build and nurture a strong and engaged user base.
  • Help organise and participate in events, meetups, and forums to promote Misan by Bamboo and educate potential users about our services.
  • Identify and establish partnerships with relevant organisations to drive user growth.
  • Create and manage relationships with different types of community partners.
  • Negotiate and manage partnerships to ensure mutual benefits and successful collaborations.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Misan by Bamboo, representing the company with professionalism and enthusiasm.
  • Develop, execute, and iterate on a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with Misan by Bamboo’s overall marketing goals.
  • Ideate and create engaging social media content, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to enhance brand visibility.
  • Monitor content performance, respond to followers, and foster a positive online community.
  • Use analytics tools to measure and report on campaign effectiveness, providing actionable insights to continuously refine social media presence.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience in community building, social media management, and digital content creation.
  • Expertise in managing and growing communities.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media strategies that drive engagement and business growth.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficient in using social media analytics tools (e.g., Buffer, Sprout Social) to measure performance and inform strategy.
  • Willingness to travel and work some weekends.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a remote setting.
