About the role
- Tax Manager handling real estate investment transactions and structuring for regulated fund environments. Collaborating with internal teams and overseeing structural conditions in investments.
Responsibilities
- Support for acquisitions and disposals as well as the structuring of our real estate investments
- Consideration of tax-specific aspects of the regulated fund environment and the tax interests of our investors
- Participation in the design and optimization of new real estate products
- Support with the aforementioned structural aspects
- Monitoring of structural framework conditions for our existing portfolio
- Point of contact for other tax teams, various internal departments, as well as our clients and external tax advisors
Requirements
- Degree in economics, business administration, law, or a comparable qualification
- Professional experience in advising on transactions
- Preferably initial experience advising on real estate and portfolio transactions and/or experience in the KVG environment (German investment management company)
- Core technical expertise in tax law and/or accounting
- Willingness to engage in-depth with corporate, investment and regulatory law topics
- Independent, responsible and very meticulous working style
- Strong team orientation, high commitment, and the flexibility and dedication required by transaction work
- Strong communication skills with external and internal stakeholders, enjoyment and commitment when working with colleagues, negotiation skills and a confident manner
