About the role

  • HR Ops, Payroll and Finance Generalist supporting InterVenture's finance team in Belgrade. Responsible for payroll processing, compliance, and improving HR operations accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain employment documentation, including contracts, annexes, and salary - and absence confirmations
  • Manage employee records in HR systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with labor law and position systematization policies
  • Respond promptly and professionally to HR-related inquiries from employees and management
  • Assist with payroll processing preparation to ensure timely and accurate calculations of employee salaries, deductions, and benefits
  • Prepare and submit required documentation to relevant authorities (Tax Administration, Republic Health Insurance Fund, Pension and Disability Insurance Fund, etc.)
  • Prepare confirmations for banks and administrative authorities, and create documents of employees’ average earnings
  • Collaborate with the finance team to streamline financial workflows, improve payroll accuracy, and support payroll-related projects, accounting tasks, and process improvements
  • Ensure compliance of all financial operations with labor, tax, and accounting regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in HR, payroll, or finance within a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of Serbian labor legislation and HR best practices
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel in particular); experience with Pantheon is a plus
  • Strong affinity on tooling, automation and curiosity on AI workflows
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and social skills
  • Good written and verbal English skills
  • Highly organized and with keen attention to detail
