About the role

  • Payroll Specialist handling payroll processes and managing client inquiries for LOHNunion in Kiel, Germany. Collaborating with team members and ensuring compliance with regulations in payroll management.

Responsibilities

  • Processing and execution of payrolls for clients, and monitoring all payroll processes.
  • Independent coordination and submission of notifications to social security agencies and tax authorities.
  • Point of contact for clients on payroll matters, both by phone and in writing.
  • Collaboration within the team and mutual support in day-to-day operations.
  • Monitoring and implementation of legal changes in payroll accounting.

Requirements

  • Completed commercial vocational training or an equivalent qualification.
  • At least one year of experience in payroll and salary accounting.
  • IT affinity and willingness to learn new software and processes.
  • Customer-oriented, flexible and independent working style.
  • Strong communication skills, empathy and enjoyment of teamwork.
