About the role
- Lead financial control activities and reporting for multiple European legal entities at International SOS. Partner with stakeholders to deliver high-quality financial processes and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Lead all financial control activities, including management accounts, statutory reporting, and regulatory submissions
- Prepare accurate monthly management accounts and annual financial statements
- Oversee annual consolidation packs and transfer pricing documentation
- Manage relationships with auditors, banks, tax consultants, and authorities
- Collaborate with shared service centres to ensure consistent and efficient processes
- Oversee balance sheet components including receivables, payables, and intercompany accounts
- Manage cash flow and treasury activities to ensure liquidity and compliance
- Monitor and manage foreign exchange exposures with accurate reporting
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and operational workflows
- Support ad hoc tasks and evolving business requirements
Requirements
- A qualified accountant (e.g., RA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong technical knowledge
- Experience working within international or multinational environments
- Management of legal entities in Europe
- Skilled in leading financial operations with strong analytical and Excel capabilities
- Able to manage multiple priorities and communicate confidently across all organisational levels
- Collaborative, improvement-focused, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment
- Dutch language is preferable
