Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of DevOps Engineers across VCP, CP, CPS, and CP Billing teams, providing technical guidance and career development.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and deployment processes for all supported platforms.
- Collaborate with product owners, development, QA, and security teams to ensure seamless integration, delivery, and operation of services.
- Drive adoption of DevOps best practices, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automated testing, monitoring, and incident response.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of production and pre-production environments across cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
- Standardize and optimize DevOps processes, tools, and documentation across all teams to improve efficiency and reduce operational risk.
- Manage resource allocation, project prioritization, and workload balancing for DevOps initiatives across multiple teams.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing within and between teams.
- Oversee compliance with security policies, regulatory requirements, and organizational standards.
- Report on key DevOps metrics, project status, and operational health to senior leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience managing DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering teams in a complex, multi-product environment.
- Strong technical background in DevOps practices, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or similar), and automation tools.
- Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), configuration management (Ansible, Chef, Puppet), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Solid understanding of monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, etc.).
- Experience with Windows Server administration and IIS (Internet Information Services) management.
- Familiarity with security best practices, compliance, and incident management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative, and distributed environment.
- Nice to Have:
- Experience with telephony systems, billing platforms, or security-focused DevOps.
- Familiarity with .NET Core, Angular, and microservices architectures.
- Experience managing hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
