About the role

  • Corporate Communications Advisor engaging and empowering employees through effective HR communications strategies. Collaborating with HR partners and driving communications projects to enhance employee engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Establish strong relationships with HR partners to understand their business needs, collaborate, and support projects that deliver on HR’s strategic priorities.
  • Draft effective, clear and engaging communications which are appropriate for the intended audiences, including key messages, internal articles, and Q&As.
  • Distribute, post and help manage content on internal channels, including the intranet and newsletters.
  • Research and provide recommendations on innovative and creative ways to tell stories and achieve communications objectives, leveraging different tactics including video and events.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across Corporate Communications and communications partners across the business to drive alignment, connect the dots and leverage best practices.
  • Support team members on key projects that contribute to our communications objectives.
  • Establish and track KPIs and other success metrics for all projects.
  • Provide recommendations based on findings and learnings.

Requirements

  • An undergraduate degree with specialization in communications, public relations, marketing or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 3 years of communications experience working in a corporate or similar environment
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and develop strategic insights
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of building strong working relationships across diverse teams
  • Willingness and ability to learn new skills to support the team
  • Highly computer literate with strong command of MS Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Experience with SharePoint Online and Staffbase is an asset
  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
  • No Canadian work experience required, but must have authorization to work in Canada.
