About the role
- Senior SAP MM Consultant managing migration from SAP ECC to S/4HANA. Collaborating with business areas and technical teams to optimize materials and purchasing processes.
Responsibilities
- Work on the SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration project, supporting impact analysis, functional adjustments and process alignment.
- Design, review and optimize MM processes, including purchasing, contracts, inventory and master data.
- Perform advanced SAP MM configuration, ensuring adherence to S/4HANA best practices.
- Support data migration activities, data validation and integrated testing.
- Work collaboratively with modules such as FI, SD, WM/EWM and PP, ensuring process consistency.
- Prepare functional specifications, support developments (RICEF) and perform technical validations.
- Conduct unit, integration and UAT testing, supporting key users.
- Provide post-go-live support, environment stabilization and continuous improvements.
- Support training and knowledge transfer to end users and internal teams.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior SAP MM Consultant.
- Strong knowledge of procurement and materials management processes, with an end-to-end perspective.
- Demonstrated experience in SAP MM configuration/parameterization.
- Advanced knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, including differences and impacts compared to ECC.
- Experience in ECC → S/4HANA migration projects.
- Experience working in project environments and AMS (Application Management Services).
- Good communication skills and ability to engage with business stakeholders.
