About the role

  • Social Media Specialist contributing to Inogen’s brand presence across platforms. Engaging patients and healthcare professionals while managing content and community interactions.

Responsibilities

  • Create, edit, and publish daily social content (posts, Reels, Stories, videos, graphics)
  • Maintain the social media content calendar and ensure alignment with brand messaging and campaigns
  • Write clear, engaging captions tailored to each platform
  • Collaborate with Creative or external resources to produce assets when needed
  • Monitor comments, messages, and community conversations across all channels
  • Respond to questions, escalate issues appropriately, and maintain a strong brand voice
  • Identify opportunities to engage with customers, creators, partners, and relevant conversations
  • Schedule and publish content across platforms using scheduling tools (HubSpot)
  • Stay on top of platform updates, best practices, and emerging trends
  • Support influencer collaborations, partnerships, and user-generated content (UGC) sourcing
  • Track and analyze performance data across posts, campaigns, and platforms
  • Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations
  • Test new content formats, posting times, and creative approaches to improve reach and engagement
  • Monitor competitive activity and surface new ideas that keep the brand relevant

Requirements

  • 0–3 years of experience managing social media accounts for a brand or agency
  • Strong knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn (YouTube and WhatsApp a plus)
  • Hands-on experience creating content—especially short-form video
  • Excellent writing skills with an eye for visual detail and on-brand storytelling
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with analytics dashboards and social media performance metrics
  • Proactive, creative thinker who brings fresh ideas and thrives in collaborative environments
  • Experience working in DTC, healthcare, wellness, consumer products, or regulated industries (Nice to Have)
  • Graphic design experience (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) (Nice to Have)
  • Experience working with influencers, creators, or UGC programs (Nice to Have)
  • Basic knowledge of paid social or boosting posts (Nice to Have)
