About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide ER support across the Central Region, primarily Germany and Switzerland
  • Advise on disciplinary actions, performance management, and employee terminations
  • Coach managers and employees on sensitive and complex workplace matters
  • Lead and support employee relations cases, grievances, and investigations
  • Partner with HRBPs, Legal, and Centers of Excellence on ER and employment law matters
  • Support reorganizations, M&A activities, and policy implementation
  • Manage employee separations, including settlement agreements
  • Support Works Council–related ER processes in Germany
  • Participate in regional and international ER projects

Requirements

  • Strong communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills
  • Broad Employee Relations experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Expertise in German employment law; Swiss employment law knowledge preferred
  • Proven ability to manage conflict and drive practical solutions
  • Experience with reorganizations, M&A, investigations, and involuntary terminations
  • Ability to influence across functions and seniority levels
  • Comfort working in ambiguous, complex environments
  • Strong judgment, ethics, and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of and experience working with German Works Councils
