About the role

  • Account Manager handling a portfolio of mid-sized travel agencies in Austria for a leading travel technology company. Building relationships and driving business impact in the Austrian travel market.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage a portfolio of mid-tier travel agency accounts in Austria, driving retention, growth, and profitability.
  • Develop and execute account plans that leverage deep knowledge of the Austrian travel market to deliver customer success and competitive advantage.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, building strong relationships and proactively identifying new business opportunities.
  • Negotiate and renew contracts, ensuring alignment with Travelport’s commercial objectives and customer needs.
  • Operate as a self-starter – independently prioritizing, problem-solving, and mobilizing internal resources to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of the Austrian travel industry, including key players, market dynamics, and distribution trends.
  • Proven ability to work independently and take initiative – comfortable operating as a self-starter in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in account management, contract negotiation, and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
