About the role

  • Product Manager in aviation shaping product vision, developing business cases, and creating impactful strategies with Engineering and Design teams.

Responsibilities

  • You develop a clear product vision, create robust business cases and define a strategic roadmap.
  • You take responsibility for your product's revenue and costs and actively manage opportunities and risks.
  • You prioritize outcomes over output and ensure real business impact.
  • You conduct product discovery: understand customer needs, run experiments and assess risks (Value, Viability, Usability, Feasibility).
  • You strengthen our discovery processes and contribute new ideas to continuously improve products.
  • You work closely with Engineering and Design in a cross-functional team and foster a culture of collaboration.
  • You monitor the market, identify trends and anticipate customer needs.
  • You take responsibility for stakeholder management and ensure all relevant interfaces are involved.
  • You make data-driven decisions and use market analyses for prioritization.
  • You hold direct conversations with customers to understand requirements and feedback firsthand.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Product Manager or in a comparable role, ideally in a SaaS B2B environment.
  • Hands-on mentality and the drive to achieve real impact and actively drive change when the team explores new approaches together.
  • A degree in business informatics, business administration, or a related field.
  • Ability to discuss at a high, conceptual level and to answer questions.
  • Deep understanding of agile product development and modern discovery methods.
  • Strong analytical skills and business affinity.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to convince stakeholders.
  • Business-fluent German and English (C1).
