About the role

  • Penetration Tester supporting technical audits and conducting penetration tests at infodas. Engaging in security challenges and collaborating with teams to document findings.

Responsibilities

  • You support the security testing team in planning and conducting technical security audits, penetration tests, source code analyses, and configuration audits.
  • You tackle challenging problems and research new vulnerabilities and attack techniques.
  • You produce final reports and documentation of test results.
  • You present the testing approach and results to technical stakeholders and advise on the risks posed by identified vulnerabilities and recommended countermeasures.

Requirements

  • You have a degree in Computer Science, IT Security, Information Technology, or a comparable field.
  • Alternatively, you have completed a vocational training program with a relevant focus.
  • You have relevant experience conducting penetration tests and technical security assessments.
  • You also enjoy working on pentest labs, CTFs, bug bounties, or other hacking challenges in your free time.
  • You have solid knowledge of one or more GNU/Linux distributions.
  • You enjoy interacting with customers and team members and advising them on cybersecurity and penetration testing procedures.
  • You possess solid expertise in one or more programming languages.
  • Ideally, you have already obtained an OSCP or BSI pentester certification.
  • You enjoy dissecting the latest gadgets and technologies.
  • You work thoroughly and have solution-oriented analytical thinking.
  • You want to research and share your know-how with the team and the security community through talks and articles.
  • You have very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken.
  • You see occasional business travel as a welcome change from the regular office routine.
