Ensure that all staff members understand and can perform their roles and responsibilities, including reporting and validation duties to HQ.
Requirements
Excellent academic qualifications, including a master’s degree in a relevant discipline (International Relations, Political Science, Social Research, Economics, Development Studies, or similar).
Previous experience in a management role within an INGO at field level.
Proven track record managing international and national teams in humanitarian contexts.
Familiarity with the humanitarian aid system and the research community.
Excellent communication and drafting skills for effective reporting, with experience contributing to high-level presentations and briefings.
At least 4 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in humanitarian and research settings, or demonstrated progression within IMPACT.
Strong research and analytical skills.
Proven experience in quantitative and qualitative research design, data collection, and data analysis.
Experience with assessments, M&E, field research, and evaluations is an asset.
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with R, SPSS, STATA, or other statistical analysis software is an asset.
Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines across multiple research cycles in complex environments.
A self-starter with proven ability to work independently.
Ability to operate in a cross-cultural environment and adapt flexibly.
Prior experience in the West Africa region is desirable.
Fluency in English required.
Ability to operate in complex and challenging security environments.
