About the role
- Senior Project and Partnership Support Officer for IMPACT working on grants and partnerships in Ethiopia. Responsibilities include project proposal management and stakeholder analysis.
Responsibilities
- Support the identification, development and management of grants for the mission
- Conduct stakeholder analysis and identify potential funding opportunities
- Maintain coordination with IMPACT’s sister organisation ACTED regarding project development and grants management
- Coordinate project proposal planning with CR and SMT
- Review and negotiate proposals and contracts with donors
- Oversee the development of high-quality project narratives and M&E reports
- Support the formalisation of IMPACT’s hosting partner for projects
Requirements
- Minimum of 3–4 years of relevant professional experience in a similar role
- Experience in humanitarian settings; previous management experience is highly desirable
- Master’s degree in a relevant discipline (International Relations, Political Science, Social Research, Economics, Development Studies, Project Development, Fundraising or similar) required
- Proven experience in positioning and fundraising, grants management, and monitoring & evaluation (M&E)
- Familiarity with the humanitarian coordination system and an understanding of donor and government requirements
- Excellent communication and drafting skills for effective reporting
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and PowerPoint
- Strong coordination, organisational and planning skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- A self-starter with the ability to work independently
- Ability to operate in a multicultural environment and adapt to changing circumstances
- Experience in Ethiopia or the region is considered an asset
- Fluency in English is required
- Ability to operate in a complex and challenging security environment
