- Draft compelling, platform-optimized copy tailored to audience behavior and channel best practices.
- Identify and capitalize on real-time cultural moments and trends to increase reach, relevance, and engagement.
- Provide live-event social coverage during major organizational moments.
- Own day-to-day programming and publishing cadence across platforms.
- Support the development and execution of content calendars across all Global Citizen channels.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Audience, Product, Partnerships, Policy, and Creative to translate organizational priorities.
- Track, analyze, and report on social performance metrics across campaigns, events, and ongoing content streams.
Requirements
- 4–7 years of professional experience as a social media editor, content creator, or in a similar digital content role.
- Proven experience developing dynamic, engaging, platform-native content across multiple social channels.
- Demonstrated proficiency in leveraging AI-powered tools to accelerate content creation, enhance ideation, optimize copy, analyze performance data, and improve workflow efficiency.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage various competing priorities.
- Highly adaptable, with proven ability to balance changing needs in fast-paced environments.
- Experience in a global work environment where work may extend beyond standard business hours.
- Creative, proactive, and able to spot problems and solve them.
