Event Manager leading planning and execution of high-quality events in Malta. Overseeing logistics, budgets, and team management for successful event delivery.
Responsibilities
Prepare, manage, and monitor event budgets, ensuring cost control and financial accountability
Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with suppliers, venues, and external personnel
Proactively identify and resolve issues before and during events
Collaborate with senior management to continuously improve event products and services and maintain market leadership
Oversee event logistics, including transportation, catering, entertainment, production, and décor
Lead, motivate, and support the event team, providing clear direction and hands-on leadership
Ensure a consistently high level of customer service for clients, partners, and attendees
Manage all operational and administrative aspects to ensure smooth and timely project delivery
Analyse event performance and prepare post-event and quarterly reports with insights and recommendations
Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards
Contribute to event-related social media activity across platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and others
Provide input into sales and marketing strategies related to events
Collaborate with internal departments to optimise workflows and suggest process improvements
Carry out any other duties reasonably assigned by the company
Requirements
Minimum 3 years’ proven experience as an Event Manager, with hands-on experience delivering events in Malta
Demonstrated experience managing events end-to-end, from planning to execution
Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proven experience in event budgeting and financial management
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
Confident negotiator with strong interpersonal skills for working with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
Willingness to work flexible hours as required by event schedules
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
