About the role

  • Event Manager leading planning and execution of high-quality events in Malta. Overseeing logistics, budgets, and team management for successful event delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, manage, and monitor event budgets, ensuring cost control and financial accountability
  • Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with suppliers, venues, and external personnel
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues before and during events
  • Collaborate with senior management to continuously improve event products and services and maintain market leadership
  • Oversee event logistics, including transportation, catering, entertainment, production, and décor
  • Lead, motivate, and support the event team, providing clear direction and hands-on leadership
  • Ensure a consistently high level of customer service for clients, partners, and attendees
  • Manage all operational and administrative aspects to ensure smooth and timely project delivery
  • Analyse event performance and prepare post-event and quarterly reports with insights and recommendations
  • Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards
  • Contribute to event-related social media activity across platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and others
  • Provide input into sales and marketing strategies related to events
  • Collaborate with internal departments to optimise workflows and suggest process improvements
  • Carry out any other duties reasonably assigned by the company

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ proven experience as an Event Manager, with hands-on experience delivering events in Malta
  • Demonstrated experience managing events end-to-end, from planning to execution
  • Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proven experience in event budgeting and financial management
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Confident negotiator with strong interpersonal skills for working with clients, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as required by event schedules
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
