About the role

  • Associate Manager for Total Rewards designing and implementing compensation and benefits strategies at IFF, a global leader in flavors, fragrances, and food ingredients.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design, implementation, and administration of compensation, benefits, and incentive programs aligned with business strategy and organizational objectives
  • Contribute to annual compensation planning and lifecycle initiatives by providing market data analysis, insights, employee communications, and manager decision-support tools
  • Partner with regional and global stakeholders across Total Rewards, Human Resources, Finance, Legal, and Payroll in a complex, matrixed environment
  • Conduct financial, market, and regulatory analyses to support compensation and benefits decisions, including monitoring regulatory developments
  • Prepare technical design documentation, internal reports, and management briefings related to Total Rewards programs
  • Perform complex Total Rewards data processing and analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Support compliance with internal policies, design principles, and external legal and regulatory requirements
  • Advise colleagues and contribute expertise to improve data quality, tools, and administrative processes
  • Continuously identify opportunities to enhance processes, tools, and overall Total Rewards effectiveness

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 3–6 years of experience supporting compensation and benefits programs, preferably in a multinational environment
  • Hands-on experience with Total Rewards activities in Latin American markets; experience supporting the United States is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial, market, and workforce data
  • Working knowledge of compensation and benefits compliance and regulatory principles
  • Experience working in cross-functional and global project environments, including initiatives managed within a Project Management Office (PMO) framework
  • Proficiency with Human Resources systems, tools, and data analysis methodologies
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage complexity, ambiguity, and multiple priorities while delivering high-quality outputs
