About the role

  • Supply Chain Specialist coordinating supply chain operations for international Solar Tracker projects at Ideematec. Ensuring timely delivery and compliance with global supply standards.

Responsibilities

  • Planning material requirements and scheduling to ensure on-time supply for international solar tracker projects and customer deliveries
  • Executing project-specific procurement activities in compliance with internal policies and existing supplier agreements
  • Organizing international transportation for tracker system components, including selecting, appointing, and managing appropriate logistics providers and freight forwarders
  • Monitoring global shipments and proactively identifying, resolving, and communicating delays, risks, and deviations
  • Preparing and maintaining transport, shipping, and export documentation in accordance with applicable trade regulations and Incoterms
  • Coordinating interfaces with suppliers and internal departments such as project management, purchasing, and quality to ensure smooth material and information flows
  • Supporting inventory and demand planning to guarantee material availability for global installations at all times
  • Preparing key performance indicators, performance data, and process reports to support informed decisions and continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Completed commercial or technical vocational training (e.g., industrial clerk, freight forwarder, wholesale and foreign trade clerk); a bachelor’s degree is optional and not required
  • At least two years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics coordination, or international transport, ideally in an international industrial or project environment
  • Experience with global supply chains, including international shipping, customs processes, and Incoterms
  • Good knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP), procurement processes, and supplier communication—especially handling mechanical or technical components
  • Hands-on experience in managing international transports and preparing export and shipping documents for global projects
  • Proficient with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills; experience with TMS or reporting tools is a plus
  • Structured, reliable, and proactive work style with strong communication and teamwork skills
  • High integrity in dealing with compliance and export control requirements
  • Very good German and English language skills
